About MPOnline Ltd

A JV between GoMP and TATA Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) was incorporated in the Year 2006 with 89% Stake held by TCS and 11% by the GoMP. The Chairman of MPOnline is the Secretary (IT), GoMP for Governance, Control and Directions:

  • MoU signed with GoMP               11th July 2006
  • Portal Go-live                                  March, 2007
  • First kiosk established                 February, 2007
  • First service go-live                       April, 2007- 1st Transaction
  • First payment gateway established in      April, 2007
There have been more than 3.5 crores transactions since the inception of MPOnline Portal.
   
Vision of MPOnline Ltd

The Vision of MPOnline Ltd is same as the Vision of Government of India. They are:

  • Provide citizen services at their doorstep with special emphasis on the rural community

KIOSK

The most unique feature of MPOnline Project is the Kiosk network Across the state of MP to provide the citizen services more efficiently and effectively in every nook and corner of the State. MPOnline has presence in all 50 Districts, over 300 Tehsils and 280+ Blocks of Madhya Pradesh. MPOnline is aiming at increasing its presence to cover all Tehsils, Blocks and Panchayats either through MPOnline kiosks or CSCs by end of FY 14-15.

MPOnline Services

Currently, MPOnline Portal holds more than 250+ services of various departments for the convenience of the citizens.

i) Service Related to Academics- It facilitates the online submission of Application Forms for Universities, Colleges and Professional bodies. Various Services rendered are as follows-

  • Enrolment Forms
  • Examination and Supplementary Exam Forms
  • Answer Book Request
  • Re-totalling/ Revaluation
  • Result Display.
  • Mark sheet Generation and Printing.

Academic services can be further divided into 2 Categories-

(a) Online Counselling Service
(b) Online Assessment Examinations

(a) Counseling Services-

MPOnline introduced the Online Counseling for the first time in the State thus revolutionizing the entire concept of Counseling. It is noteworthy that for the year 2013-14
Total Seats handled in DTE Counseling – 83,426
Total Students involved – 1.94 lacs

(b) Online Assessment Services –

i) This year, MPOnline has ventured into an altogether a fresh line of business which is Online Assessment Examinations in technical assistance with TATA Consultancy Services.

  • Conducting Online Tests – capacity to hold examination for 35,000 candidates simultaneously
  • Online evaluation of the descriptive papers
  • Question bank management software which helps in creating millions of questions for online testing
  • Spontaneous Results & Scores

ii) Services Related to Employment- The Facility of submitting the Online Application for recruitment in various Government Departments is done through MPOnline. Scanning and uploading of Photos, documents and signatures can also be done. Additional features like downloading of Admit Cards; Examination Centre allotment etc is also done. Merit list and Waiting list can also be generated.

iii) Miscellaneous Services – Includes a wide plethora of various services of immense Value to the citizens. For example Hotel and Bus bookings etc.

(iv) Business to Citizen Services- Includes the utility bills payment services, life insurance Premium payments etc.
